About

My name is Alexander Fatemi-Badi, or Alex Fatemi for short. I am a 3D generalist and digital media designer, which is to say I work with and produce a variety of digital media. My best skills are in 3D modeling and animation. I also have a lot of experience in game design, and am always looking to use my skills for video game projects.

Video games have been my main hobby since I was little and my family moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After coming back to the United States, in middle school, I started to work with digital media. The namesake of this site, and the character you see around it is called Kevin the Dot. He was the first digital creation I ever made, through very crude, frame by frame Powerpoint “animations”. Of course, back then he was a bit more… juvenile.

The first animation I ever made back in 2006.

In high school, I took a digital media class with the hopes of further developing my skills to make Kevin into a full Flash cartoon. This didn’t go the way I thought, however, as I came to learn I was much better at 3D art than I was at 2D. When I graduated, I applied for Drexel University, then #3 in the country for their digital media program. After attending for a year I was put into the accelerated BS/MS program and graduated with a Masters in Digital Media in 2016.
